Buttercut Shears: Avanti Slim Handle

The Buttercut Avanti Slim Handle is a cobalt ball bearing designed shear. It is a light weight version of the original Buttercut Avanti. The handles are slimmer and weigh less; the leaf washer tension control plate has been removed to make the shear lighter while keeping the balance. The thumb is an anatomical design with a permanent finger rest. The ball bearing tension system is used to reduce friction to near zero and allows the designer to cut much less thumb pressure. This shear cuts with absolute precision, and will surpass many shears costing hundreds of dollars more. We love this shear and it is highly recommended. The Avanti will feel like part of your hand.
